Weight classes
The class is defined by the drive system. Every robot must also fit freely into a 250 × 250 × 250 mm cube.

The 100 g tolerance covers scale error, glue, tape and minor repairs. Anything above the maximum is disqualified.
Drive types
Shuffle Drive (walker)
The robot steps on mechanical feet driven by cams, eccentrics or levers. Hidden wheels and rollers are forbidden. Nominal 1800 g, maximum 1900 g.
